UFC star Jon Jones was arrested on Thursday night in Las Vegas, after police responded to a call from Caeser's Palace following a UFC hall of fame ceremony.

American fighter Jon Jones has found himself in trouble with the law once again.

On Friday morning in Las Vegas, UFC star Jon Jones was arrested. After a night when one of his past fights was inducted into the UFC hall of fame, the American was detained by the Metropolitan Police Department.

Jones faces a misdemeanor charge for “battery, domestic violence and injuring or tampering with a vehicle.” According to Officer Larry Hadfield of the Las Vegas Metro PD. The star fighter is at present being held at the Clark County Detention Centers. Bail for Jones has been set at $8,000 with a mandatory 12-hour hold.

While details surrounding the reason for Jones’ arrest remain unclear at this time, what is certain is that at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Friday morning the police responded to a call at the well known Caesar’s Palace resort. When questioned, Jones’ adviser Richard Schaefer stated, “The facts are still developing, we really don’t know yet the full story so I’m not going to make any comment until I have a chance to talk to Jon and until we see see how this plays out.”
