Europa League Second Legs Can Result In Big Pay Day

Europa League Second Legs Can Result In Big Pay Day

Best Bets From Thursday’s European Action

Reaching this stage of the Europa League may be a bit of a drawn out process but now we are down to some quality teams and there look to be some cracking bets amongst this week’s second legs.

Toffees Can Avoid Defeat In Sticky Second Leg

Everton may well be the last remaining English club in Europe by the time this game kicks off and having already grabbed a 2-1 lead in this tie they have an outstanding chance of going through.

A long trip to Ukraine is never ideal preparation for a match though and with Everton knowing a draw will see them through, it would be no surprise to see the Toffees set up not to be beaten.

Everton are unbeaten away from home this season in the Europa League and they can continue that run here by earning a draw.

9/4 – Everton to draw with Dynamo Kiev

Away Goals Could Decide All Italian Tie

One of the best games to get involved in this week is the all Italian affair, Roma v Fiorentina.

There is plenty of relevant form to look at from Serie A. The sides drew in the first leg in Florence and it’s Fiorentina who go into the match in much better form having won 4 of their last 6 domestic games.

Meanwhile it’s no surprise that Roma played out a draw in the first leg as they’ve also drawn 4 of their last 6 in Serie A.

Their draw ratio increases even further when you look at just their home record so a draw again looks on the cards here.

9/4 – Roma to draw with Fiorentina

Ajax Technical Ability Could Be Too Much For Dnipro

Ajax may not be the force of old but they are still a technically strong team which is why playing at home often suits them more than away trips.

They’ve only lost twice all season at home in the Eredivisie and it’s hard to make a case for a cup tie against Dnipro being much tougher than many of their domestic games.

Ajax are a solid bet to win this one and the fact that they need to, having lost 1-0 in the first leg, means this bet has motivation on its side.

19/20 – Ajax to beat Dnipro

Defensive Record Key To Besiktas Success

Besiktas are strong contenders for this competition and fans of English football will have seen plenty of them this season, they’ve already faced Arsenal in the Champions League qualifying rounds and Spurs and Liverpool in this competition.

In the 3 home games against those teams Besiktas earned two wins and a draw and what is even more remarkable is that in the 300 minutes of play in those games (the Liverpool match went to extra time) Besiktas didn’t concede a goal.

Club Brugge don’t possess the threat of any of those teams and with Besiktas needing a win here they can put their strong home form to good use by getting that result.

9/10 – Besiktas to beat Club Brugge

Sevilla To Continue Home Domination Of Spanish Opposition

Sevilla v Villarreal is the other Europa League tie that sees two teams from the same league face off.

This isn’t as finely balanced as Roma v Fiorentina though with Sevilla already holding a 3-1 lead in the tie from the first leg.

There are only 3 points between the teams in La Liga and they both have very similar form too. What stands out though is Sevilla’s home record.

They are the only La Liga side that is yet to taste defeat at home with a record of 10 wins and 4 draws.

That is extremely impressive and against a Villarreal side that has won fewer away games than any other top half team it is Sevilla who are fancied to win both legs.
