Not only does Week 18 bring with it a whole slew of interesting playoff scenarios, but it also includes a whole lot of additional ways to play the NFL player props markets. With many players looking to cash in on lucrative bonuses before the season ends, there are plenty of NFL player incentives to consider for this weekend that could have betting implications.

Analyzing this list could create some key betting opportunities for NFL player props to make in Week 18.

NFL Player Bonuses to Hit in Week 18

We’ve included the most realistic targets they can reach this weekend. Below we’ve gone into more detail on some of the incentives and bonuses for some of the players above.

Quarterback Week 18 Incentives

All three of Green Bay, Seattle and Tampa Bay have playoff spots in the NFL playoff bracket on the line in Week 18. If those teams get in, their quarterbacks, Jordan Love, Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield will not only get at least one more game, they’ll also be rewarded handsomely.

Love gets $500k if the Packers make the playoffs plus another $500k for every playoff win. Smith has a massive $2 million on the line if he can get the Seahawks to the postseason. And then Mayfield is due $1 million in contract incentives if the Bucs can win the NFC South. He’s in a great position to do so with Tampa leading the division at 8-8 and going to Carolina as 4.5-point favorites this week in the NFL odds.

But Mayfield is also due $300k in bonuses for finishing among the leaders in a whole host of passing categories including passer rating, passing TDs, passing yards, completion percentage and yards per pass attempt. His prop totals this week are 225.5 in yards (-115) and 1.5 touchdowns (Over +115). Both of those props totals he’s gone over in each of his last three games.

Hopkins, Ekeler, Mixon, Reynolds & Mattison Chasing Down the Money

Odell Beckham Jr would have been worth a play in several NFL player props categories this week as he attempted to chase down $1.25 million in bonuses, but with the Ravens having nothing on the line, he’ll be rested. You may look to teammate Nelson Agholor who only needs 58 receiving yards for $250k if he suits up instead for your prop picks.

The rest of these players could be worth targeting for prop bets as they can pocket a few extra dollars by hitting key incentives.

DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins of Tennessee may be a good bet to target in prop bets as he hunts down his incentives. That said, his prop totals have yet to be released as of this writing at the top sportsbook betting apps. An extra $1 million kicks in for 49 more yards, plus $250k for seven catches and $500k more if he plays in at least 75% of the Titans’ offensive plays. He’s played in 72% of snaps so far.

In what could be Titans’ head coach Mike Vrabel’s last game in Tennessee, he sounds fired up to go out with a win and will surely be looking to pull an upset at home to divisional rival Jacksonville. Hopkins has seven catches in two of his past four games and has finished with 49 or more yards in ten games this season.

Joe Mixon

Joe Mixon has only rushed for multiple touchdowns once this season, but if he does it again in Week 18 it would net him a $100k bonus. Touchdown prop bets aren’t yet posted for this game but Mixon to score at least once versus a Browns team resting starters could be worth a bet.

Josh Reynolds

Dan Campbell say he’s playing his starters and going for the win. If that’s true, than WR Josh Reynolds could be in line for a $250k bonus. All he needs is one more receiving touchdown. He hasn’t found the endzone in three games and has just four catches in those games, but could be a longshot bet in the anytime TD markets.

Austin Ekeler

With nothing on the line between the Chiefs and Chargers the most interesting storyline here may be Austin Ekeler hunting down another $100k if he finisehs with at least 110 more combined yards. It’s a doable number, however, Ekeler hasn’t finished with a combined yards total of 110 or more since November 12.

Alexander Mattison

Technically Minnesota is still alive in the playoff hunt, but even with a win, they have an 11% chance of getting in. They blew it last week starting Jaren Hall at QB versus Green Bay.

So maybe the most notable achievement they can achieve this week is trying to get RB Alexander Mattison another $650k for 124 more rushing yards. Not an easy task versus the Lions’ fifth-ranked run defense and when you consider Mattison has never even cracked the 100-yard mark in rushing yards all season. He had only 17 yards on three carrries in Week 17 and -1 yards on two carries versus the Lions in Week 16. His rushing prop has yet to be released.

Plenty On the Line for Texans vs Colts

Not only is this basically a win and in game between Houston and Indy, but a couple of Texans are hunting down incentives too.

Obviously going for the win will be more important, but the fact Houston needs a win is actually better, meaning there should be no worry that any key players get rested, especially the likes of TE Dalton Schultz or RB Devin Singletary.

With four catches, Schultz comes in with 58 catches which unlocks $250k, and then if he grabs two more to hit 60 catches, he’ll get another $250k. So $500k combined is on the line for six more catches. Schultz could be hard-pressed to get six catches. He’s only done that once in his past six games but he does have four and eight-catch games in his last three games. His receptions props is set at 4.5 (O -105 / U -125).

Then there’s his receiving yardage incentive that nets him another $250k if he reaches 700 yards. He’s currently at 593 so getting to 107 yards in Week 18 is not impossible, but something he’s only done once this season. But if he does approach that number, he’ll blow over this yardage prop of 43.5 this week. That number is something he’s exceeded in two of his past three games.

Singletary needs 165 total yards in Week 18 for $125k. That means you could target rushing and receiving props, instead of just focusing on rushing props. However, that total is something Singletary has only done once this season when he finished with 170 combined yards versus the Titans a few weeks ago.

His rushing prop is set at 63.5 yards, while rushing and receiving is set at 80.5.

Sacks Incentives in Week 18

Several players are just a single, couple or even half a sack away from ending their seasons with an extra pay day. There’s a longer list in the table above and not all sack props have been released, but here are a few players with sack incentives on the line.

The Chiefs’ DT Chris Jones has the biggest money on the line with $1.25 million going into his bank account if he gets just 0.5 sacks against the Chargers and Easton Stick. The Chiefs will be looking to sit key players this week but perhaps Jones gets a quarter or two to try and wrap up this incentive. While he has no monetary incentive on the line, look across the field to Chargers’ LB Khalil Mack, he’s just one sack away from the league lead this season.

Both LaVonte David and Jadeveon Clowney are also 0.5 sacks away from cashing incentives. David should have a good opportunity to do so against the Panthers who have allowed the third-most sacks this season.

The Falcons’ playoff hopes are slim, but they are still alive so they’ll be going hard against the Saints on Sunday. Calais Campbell and Bud Dupree have a little extra incentive as well as they look for 2.5 and 1.5 sacks respectively to cash in on bonuses. It’s not the best matchup for them to achieve this though, as New Orleans only allows 2.0 sacks per game (T-7th).
